Reincloud®
ReinCloud is an industrial HMI and progressive web app designed to remotely monitor and control center-pivot irrigation systems. The platform replaces on-site, hardware-dependent controls with a responsive digital interface accessible across devices. It is used by both farmers and retailers to manage irrigation operations at scale.
Context
Center-pivot irrigation workflows were fragmented across tools and interfaces, requiring users to switch between systems to monitor, configure, and service equipment. The product needed to support a wide range of users, from tech-savvy operators to farmers with minimal digital experience. Managing multiple irrigation systems simultaneously added complexity and increased the risk of errors.
Solution
The interface was designed to reduce cognitive load while preserving the depth required for industrial control. Workflows were consolidated into a single, consistent experience optimized for clarity and accessibility. The design enables both farmers and retailers to confidently manage multiple systems from one platform.
Core Flows
Users can control key equipment such as pumps, chemigation, end guns, and auxiliary systems from a centralized command interface. Controls are clearly grouped and status-driven, enabling safe operation and quick adjustments in real time.
A map-based overview displays all center-pivot systems with real-time status indicators. Users can view available networks, system accuracy, and health metrics at a glance to quickly identify issues
A streamlined flow allows users to report issues, submit warranty claims, and track service status from within the same interface. This reduced reliance on external communication and improved visibility into system maintenance.
Outcome
ReinCloud 3 is live and actively used by farmers and irrigation retailers to manage center-pivot systems remotely. The redesigned workflows improved usability across user skill levels and simplified multi-system management. This supported more efficient irrigation operations and reduced downtime in real-world agricultural environments.
